    • The Container Ship did a U-turn and ran into the USS Fitzgerald.

    • I don't get it, either. What were the people on watch doing? Wasn't anyone in the Combat Information Center paying attention to the surface-search radar? Surely it would have been on and scanning, no matter where the ship was.

If the captain survives his injuries he will be fired. Those on the bridge at the time will be fired. Likely the officer and chief petty officer in charge of the CIC at that time will be fired.

Sounds like a made up story to me, covering something up.

There was definitely a collision but the stated circumstances just don't make sense to me. There are ALWAYS people on watch on EVERY naval vessel. Vessels with Combat Information Centers would have them manned, even at a skeleton crew level, at all times while the ship was underway. Got to; you never know what will happen and when it might happen.

Well, the squids are the lowest, stupidest, laziest members of the US Armed Services, so there's that.

And the rescue assistance was by the Japanese Coast Guard. I wonder how public their report will be!

Good question. I don't think it will be all that public.

    • What was the purpose of this Navy ship? What was its mission?

Are we in some type of war?

      A heavily armed Training Vessel?

Yes, WWIII has been coming along slowly and methodically for quite some time now!

How easy would it have been for Muslims to bring down this ship of 200, mostly sleeping sailors? The hapless crew could not even manage to avoid colliding with a container ship.

Probably as easy as an Israeli Dolphin Submarine sending her to the bottom.

Muzzies could have simply hijacked that container ship, loaded it with bombs and drove it into the Navy ship.
