    • Endless crying forever as part of the curriculum
In mid-November students at Fulmore organized a protest on campus during the school day because they were upset not enough had been done to address this situation. District leaders said this middle school is considered a social justice campus - meaning they teach these students about protesting as part of the curriculum and were happy to see the students taking action.

    • GOP activist outed as white nationalist after endorsing Roy Moore -- then fired by Indiana candidate
An Indiana Republican fired a staffer over his ties to a white supremacist group that endorsed Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.

Caleb Christopher Shumaker had his racist ties exposed Tuesday, after Moore touted the endorsement of the Indiana First PAC he chairs, reported the Indianapolis Star.

Moore used the endorsement as a show of national support after multiple women have accused him of molesting them or pursuing them for sex decades ago, when they were teenagers and he was an assistant prosecutor in his 30s.

The 25-year-old Shumaker discounted those accusations, and he promised 30 millennial-age volunteers would make phone calls on behalf of Moore before the Dec. 12 election.

    • Luar's accuser ID to be revealed soon, NBC staff comes forward with his horny texts

The million dollar payouts are for the company ignoring it. If a company acts quickly like NBC did, there's no payout.

Many people misunderstand how the lawsuits work. The company has an obligation to keep the rapists and murderers out. As long as they show the criminals the door when they become aware of it, there's no problem.

    • Senator Collins says not committed to tax bill, concerned about SALT
Republican U.S. Senator Susan Collins said on Thursday she was not committed to voting for the Senate tax bill, citing concerns over healthcare and the loss of a deduction for state and local taxes.

Collins told reporters at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast it would be "very difficult for me to support the bill if I do not prevail on those two issues" but she was encouraged by her discussions with leadership.

Collins said she has proposed an amendment to the tax bill that would retain the deduction for property taxes up to $10,000, as the House bill does.

The Senate bill repeals the Affordable Care Act fine on people who do not purchase health insurance, which will lead to higher insurance premiums. Collins has asked lawmakers to include in a separate bill provisions that would help insurers cover expensive patients, and that would continue Obamacare subsidy payments for low income people for two years.

    • Took my car in to get it fixed and they screwed me....where do I go from here?
      Page: 2 3 4
Ok so I took the car back there (could not get into the dealer at the time) and come to find out, it's the PCV valve. He explained that the splattering coolant must have damaged it when it overheated. That's another 130 but I was prepared for worse. Hopefully that is the end of it. I stalled at a couple of stop lights on the way there. It runs fine when in motion tho.

    • DNC Lawyer Scrambles To Block Evidence From Hidden Laptop Tied To Wasserman Schultz... Whats to hide?
      http://ibankcoin.com/zeropointnow/2017/11/30/awan-case-dnc-lawyer-scrambling-to-block-evidence-from-hidden-laptop-tied-to-wasserman-schultz/

A lawyer for former DNC IT staffer Imran Awan is scrambling to block evidence found on a hidden laptop which may contain proof of a massive spy ring operating at the highest levels of Congress, in what may be the largest breach of National Security in U.S. history.

Awan, a Pakistani national, worked for dozens of Democratic members of Congress along with his wife, two brothers and a friend. Following the publication of DNC emails by WikiLeaks in the lead-up to the 2016 election, Congressional investigators discovered that the Awans had a secret server being housed by the House Democratic Caucus backed up to an offsite Dropbox account.

"For members to say their data was not compromised is simply inaccurate. They had access to all the data including all emails. Imran Awan is the walking example of an insider threat, a criminal actor who had access to everything," -Daily Caller

    • UK reeling as Trump upbraids Theresa May over her rebuke of anti-Muslim tweets
Britain was reeling Thursday after US President Donald Trump castigated Prime Minister Theresa May over her rebuke to him for posting anti-Muslim tweets, but the government sought to play down the row.

Plunging headlong into a high-profile spat with one of America's closest international partners, Trump suggested May focus on defending Britain rather than criticising him after he retweeted anti-Muslim videos from a British far-right group.

"@Theresa_May, don't focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom. We are doing just fine!" Trump tweeted late Wednesday.

Trump had to delete an earlier tweet with the same message after he used the wrong Twitter handle for May, instead tagging @theresamay, who is reportedly a 41-year-old mother from Bognor Regis with just six followers.

    • Mapping the Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on the United States
      https://howmuch.net/articles/state-by-state-costs-of-illegal-inmigration

      https://cdn.howmuch.net/articles/illegal5-13da.png

There's a lot of confusion and misunderstanding out there around the economic impact of illegal immigration in the United States. We decided to bring some clarity around the issue by mapping new numbers on the estimated costs of illegal immigration on a state-by-state basis. Our viz takes data from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) about how much illegal immigration costs in each state. FAIR takes into account a variety of different expenditures, like healthcare, education and refundable tax credits. We mapped these numbers across the United States according to a color-coded scale. Purple and dark red states have comparatively high expenditures, but the pink and blue states spend relatively less money because of illegal immigrants. There are two interesting trends you can see from looking at the data in this way.

First, states that spend the most on illegal immigration tend to be located close to Mexico. Looking at out map, the two states with the highest expenditures are California ($23B) and Texas ($11B), both sharing long borders with Mexico. In fact, there's a cluster of dark red states stretching along the Southwest. States closest to the phenomenon pay the most as a result.
