• "German" woman abandons family for Muslim shithole. Held up as an inspiration to all female-kind
One of the cowherds, a Georgian called Dato, began to visit her every day, insisting that she give him her telephone number. At last, she relented, and the two began a relationship.

They plan to marry later this year. The ceremony will not be legally binding - Asmadiredja is still married to her husband who is in Germany. But her adoptive family has already planned a traditional Pankisi supra feast anyway. "I never thought I would have love like that," she says.

She knows he cannot join her in the various caves and huts she has called home, but envisages a life spent between a home in Pankisi and the mountains - she is encouraging him to learn to drive, so that he can work alongside her on her guided tours.

Even so, Asmadiredja, now 45, is aware of how much she left behind. Two of her children, aged nine and 12, who initially remained with her husband, are now in foster care. With a different partner, she also had an older child, a daughter who lives with her father.

• Why Law School Is A Waste Of Money Unless You Get Into A Top School
..
I know someone who graduated in 08 with a law degree from an Ivy. Lower down in the class, but not bottom of the barrel. He made more as a bike messenger than some of those doc review gigs in NY. He spends every waking moment learning to code, and thinks coding is harder than an Ivy Law degree.

• Uber says ride services do this about drunk driving
Yes, and if there were 15 cabs standing idle on every city block & offering rides anywhere in town for $15

there would eventually be ZERO DUI infractions.

But that STILL doesn't do anything to rectify the legal issues & unfair competition with licensed hacks.

• Knowledge of the holocaust must no longer be suppressed
using books, movies, and tv programs we could spread the lessons of the holocaust the world over. Perhaps a traveling holocaust museum complete with hair clippings and prison clothes could travel to each town no matter how small so that nobody is deprived of the rich wealth of knowledge the holocaust offers. This knowledge has been suppressed for too long, we need to move it mainstream.

My pal here got his medical marijuana card for two dispensaries and he loves it. He's like a 5 year old boy with a prepaid card for the candy store. He just got it last summer and he's still at the stage where he's trying out one gram samplers of all the varieties they offer.

So the first complaint is that there is no fraud and then when fraud is demonstrated, it's because somebody wants smaller government even though the solution to a massive problem is hiring 22 data analysts and nobody has complained about that solution?

I'm OK with paying out for legitimate disabilities but the bulk of the disabilities appear to be self-inflicted obesity and vague back pain. The fatties are literally consuming resources to the point that the truly disabled will not receive their full payments just one year from now.

Nantucket pretty much had no power. And some town they intentionally cut the power overnight to avoid a worse, sudden emergency.

How many people were without power last night?

What about the flood surges? They were talking about parking lots under seawater near Boston.

If a grown man can't physically handle a woman of that age and size without doing that level of damage to her with ease...WITH EASE...then he's not physically or mentally qualified to be a policeman.

• When you see a cute small poodle, it used to be a mighty mountain wolf
The same thing has happened to humans, especially men. Domestication. We could not even begin to fathom today how men used to be thousand or two thousand years ago - they were made of steel with eyes and ears like eagle.

The reason man domesticates more easily is the tiny Y chromosome. Women have two large X chromosomes, which maintain female information more better.

• INSANE: Look what the BBC just called terrorists who were killed by Chris Kyle
http://images.unit587.com/content/2015-01/insane-look-what-the-bbc-just-called-terrorists-who-were-killed-by-chris-kyle-10584.jpg

But [American Sniper] has caused controversy. Some have hailed its portrayal of Kyle as a war hero, but others have criticised it for glorifying violence and for Kyle's attitude towards his victims.

Kyle, a Navy Seal, served four tours of duty in Iraq and killed more than 160 people, making him the most deadly sniper in American history.

The film is based on his book, also titled American Sniper, in which he claimed to have no regrets and referred to those he killed as "savages".
